The full size bed dimensions (also called a double bed) are typically 54 inches wide by 75 inches in length. Full beds measure wider than a twin-size, so they're great for the single sleeper who likes to have some extra space to move around.
Taller sleepers may find the full bed too short, and may want to take a look at thefull-xl size. Full beds are narrower and shorter than a queen-size, so they aren't as ideal for a couple. Since a full mattress is smaller than a queen or king, it also usually costs less.
